After research, the school has decided to initiate the recruitment process for the eighth term of student assistants to the principal. Detailed notice is as follows:
1. Recruitment Targets
Full-time undergraduate and graduate students of our school (in principle, non-fresh graduates)
II. Job Responsibilities
1. Collect and provide feedback from students on the school’s talent development, campus construction, management services, and other aspects, and actively provide feedback to school leaders and relevant departments;
2. Conduct research in coordination with relevant departments on key university tasks related to student interests and hot issues of student concern, and submit a research report;
3. Attend school-level meetings and activities related to students, participate in the drafting and revision of systems and policies that have a significant impact on students’ interests, and provide reference for school leadership’s decision-making;
4. Actively introduce and publicize policies and initiatives related to student development to all students in the school;
5. Complete other tasks entrusted and assigned by the principal and other school leaders.
3. Recruitment Conditions
1. Have a firm political stance, love and care for the development of the country and the school’s education, and have certain theoretical literacy;
2. Possess a strong sense of professionalism, responsibility, and curiosity, be enthusiastic about work, have a positive and upright work attitude, be able to think proactively, creatively propose work ideas, and promote their implementation;
3. Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, have excellent academic performance, and possess expertise in language expression, manuscript writing, research practice, team leadership, and new media application;
4. Applicants who are familiar with the school’s relevant policies and rules and regulations and have served as key student leaders in the Party, League, class, or clubs and have outstanding work performance will be given priority;
5. Must serve at least one full term and, in principle, shall not hold other student leadership positions concurrently during the term.
IV. Registration Method
This recruitment will be conducted through a combination of self-recommendation and college recommendation.
1. Self-recommendation: Download the registration form from the university’s official website, the University Youth League Committee’s WeChat official account, or the Hunan Normal University President’s Student Assistant WeChat official account. Fill out a paper version of your resume (print both sides, no more than two pages, with your photo embedded in the document). Undergraduate students should submit it to the college’s Youth League Committee Secretariat by October 24th. After the college’s Youth League Committee signs its approval, each college should collectively submit it to Office 306 of the University Youth League Committee by 5:00 PM on October 31st. Graduate students should submit it to the college’s Research Office. After the college’s Research Office signs its approval, each college should collectively submit it to the Graduate School’s Education Management Section by 5:00 PM on October 31st.
2. College recommendation: Each college may recommend one student with expertise in oral expression, document writing, sports and cultural competitions, research practice, new media applications, etc. in the submitted materials, and the college dean shall sign the opinion.
5. Recruitment Process
1. The President’s Office, together with the University’s Communist Youth League Committee and the Graduate School, will conduct a preliminary review of the candidates’ eligibility.
2. The school will provide training and testing for qualified candidates. In principle, candidates should participate in learning and practical activities including teamwork, language expression, information collection and analysis, event planning and promotion, etc.
3. Candidates with outstanding performance will be reported to the school leadership for review and approval, and will undergo a probationary period of no less than one month. The results of the probationary period will be announced to the entire school. If there are no objections to the announcement, the school will appoint the candidate.
4. For candidates who are not selected but have good performance, they will be selected in a two-way manner to participate in routine work such as planning, research, organization, and publicity of student assistant activities for the principal, and will be included in the unified management of the work-study assistant team of the principal’s office.
