Scholarships
Chinese Government Scholarship
The living allowance offered by this scholarship ranges from 3,000 to 3,500 Yuan a month, and it covers living expenses, accommodation fees, comprehensive medical insurance, and tuition and incidentals. Between January and April of each year, applications must be sent to Chinese diplomatic missions or dispatching agencies. The application process allows applicants to study as a General scholar, Senior scholar, Chinese language student, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree student.
Confucius Insitute Scholarship
This scholarship covers living expenditures between 1,400 and 1,900 Yuan per month in addition to full medical insurance, accommodation costs, and tuition and incidentals. Between January and April of each year, applicants must submit their applications to Confucius Institutes or Chinese diplomatic missions abroad. The application process allows applicants to study as a General scholar, Senior scholar, Chinese language student, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree student.
Education Forumn For Asia Scholarship
Five scholarships are awarded by HNU to students from Asian nations each year. Registration and tuition expenses are waived for this grant. The candidates may submit an application through their national Chinese embassy, consulate, or embassy. Every year, the application deadline is at the end of May. The only applicants for this scholarship are language students.
Provincial Excelent Foreign Student Scholarship
The Hunan Province offers the Provincial Excellent Foreign Students Scholarship, which is awarded to deserving international students. A one-year scholarship will be awarded to those pupils.

UNIVERSITY EXCELLENT FOREIGN STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP (BY HNU)
HNU awards the University Excellent Foreign Students Scholarship to international students who excel in their studies. The benefits of receiving scholarships include half or full tuition exemption for the following semester or academic year.
